Teen volunteer playing with young boy in Guatemala.Available only in the summer, Teen Volunteer Abroad is an exciting and unique teens-only international volunteer experience designed just for high school students, ages 14 to 17, by Cross-Cultural Solutions. Teens have the amazing and rare opportunity to volunteer in Africa, Asia, or Latin America for 1, 2, or 3 weeks where they will participate on a group project and gain valuable international experience, confidence, lasting friendships, and even a competitive edge for college.
ACTION-PACKED TEEN SUMMER VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
The Teen Volunteer Abroad program allows teens to work side-by-side with local people at orphanages, schools, homes for the elderly, or other dynamic community organizations. Every day, teen volunteers will participate in exciting Cultural & Learning Activities, including dancing and cooking lessons, local language instruction, and supervised trips to local sites of interest. During this program, the CCS Home-Base is reserved exclusively for our teen volunteers. Plus, CCS in-country staff provides 24-hour supervision and are trained to support teenagers living and volunteering abroad; safety is their number-one priority.
Teen Volunteer Abroad gives teens the summer experience of a lifetime, but the benefits of the program go on for long after it ends. Teens gain awareness about global issues and return better equipped for their future.
