Peace Corps Alternatives

If you're searching for organizations like the Peace Corps, your search ends here...
Cross-Cultural Solutions is sometimes referred to as a Peace Corps alternative—The New York Times called us a “mini Peace Corps.” For over 20 years we've offered a variety of volunteer abroad programs similar to the Peace Corps.

Cross-Cultural Solutions offers a variety of flexible, culturally immersive, life-changing volunteer opportunities that span anywhere from 1 week to a full-on gap year.

How Cross-Cultural Solutions works:
Unlike the Peace Corps, which is funded by the government, CCS is funded by volunteers. As a volunteer, you have the flexibility to choose where and when you volunteer, as well as the nature of your volunteer service.
Included in the program contribution are CCS' unique cultural and learning activities, accommodation at the CCS Home-Base, healthy authentic meals, your custom volunteer assignment, and access to our network of over 35,000 alumni when you return.

Choosing the experience that's right for you:
If you're interested in programs like the Peace Corps, but hesitant to commit two or more years, a CCS program is an excellent way to experience international volunteering. In fact many of our alums later go on to join the Peace Corps.

I have fallen in love with life and people again, and it's incredible.
