The Campus Engagement Specialist plays an important role in connecting with university faculty and staff to provide opportunities for group and individual international volunteer opportunities. The Campus Engagement Specialist works closely with universities to spread the word to individual students across campuses, to coordinate faculty- or student-led groups, and to create co-curricular and specialized programming on campus.

As part of the Program Specialist Department, the Campus Engagement Specialist has an exciting yet demanding role at CCS: they reach out individually across hundreds of campuses, communicate with thousands of campuses across the US and Canada, and work with campus faculty and staff to develop a wide range of programming and opportunities. In addition, the Campus Engagement Specialist coordinates with both campuses and students to provide effective and inspiring representation at fairs across the US and Canada, and represents CCS at campus events for international volunteering several times per year. The Campus Engagement Specialist is expected to handle a high volume of diverse inquiries while using creativity and program knowledge to create solutions that benefit both the CCS in-country programs and the students and faculty on campus.
