Corporate Volunteering Abroad

CCS Corporate Partners

For the past several years, OppenheimerFunds has partnered with Cross Cultural Solutions to provide employees with corporate volunteering opportunities across the globe. Teams volunteer in various parts of the world, not only to lend hand and heart, but also to work side by side with the very people we are helping.

Salesforce works in partnership with Cross-Cultural Solutions to provide opportunities for employees to travel abroad on volunteer leave, and supports employee volunteerism through matching gifts.

Cross-Cultural Solutions is Lilly’s primary partner for Connecting Hearts Abroad, a global employee volunteer program focused on global health introduced by Lilly in 2011.

Celanese partners with Cross-Cultural Solutions for their global employee volunteer program, traveling to 2 CCS destination per year.

Our partnership started with CEB (Corporate Executive Board) in 2015. Eleven participants from locations all over the world joined together for service and cultural immersion as a group with CCS Costa Rica.

Nineteen members of the Horizon Media team, from both their Los Angeles and New York headquarters, joined CCS Peru in October 2015 for a week long program in Lima, Peru.

Change their world. Change yours.

Volunteer Opportunities

The most impactful approach to volunteering abroad – the only approach – is one designed by the community. With CCS, you’ll do meaningful work that addresses a specific community need. As you immerse yourself in the community – your new neighborhood – and work alongside local people to make a real impact, you’ll find beauty in every connection and commonality discovered, large or small. The CCS international volunteer experience offers you a genuine corporate volunteering experience with countless opportunities to connect with, and learn from, local people in those communities in which you'll work to support.

Once enrolled, your group will have the chance to select the volunteer opportunity that best fits your goals. Volunteers will always receive their first preference. The only exception to this will be when there are national or school holidays, or there are exceptional circumstances.

Minimize Your Cost

Cross-Cultural Solutions is the leader in international volunteering; our work is driven by volunteer contributions. The program fee offers mutual benefits: it ensures that the local communities we work with are not financially burdened by our volunteers, and it may be tax deductible for U.S. residents. Many CCS volunteers fundraise for their program fee—some even fundraise their entire program fee! We will help you navigate funding tools, tap into financial resources, and find creative ways to raise money in order to turn this amazing experience from a possibility to a reality. You can read successful fundraising stories on our blog, and you can talk to one of our Program Specialists directly by calling 1-914-632-0022.  FIND OUT MORE
