Volunteer Work in New Delhi

New Delhi is a lively city filled with many wonderful volunteer opportunities in daycare centers, schools, women's empowerment groups, schools for children with disabilities, and more. Many local organizations we work with have been welcoming CCS volunteers for over a decade.

Volunteers in New Delhi are involved with caring for infants and children,teaching children, assisting teachers, caring for the elderly, Volunteer in India observing and assisting local health professionals, caring for people with disabilities, assisting teachers of special education, sharing their professional skills/experience, and work towards women's empowerment.

Volunteer Work Placements in New Delhi

Volunteer work is always in partnership with one of CCS' Partner Programs from the local community. Your placement is based on your skills, interests, and the needs of the community. Common placements in New Delhi include:

Home for the elderly: Volunteers help with nursing, entertaining, feeding, grooming, and visiting with residents.

Community support organization: Volunteers assist with computer operations, teaching drawing or painting, working on a recycling program, teaching English, or looking after children.

Rehabilitation center: Volunteers may assist with workshops, help provide therapy to disabled children, or participate in projects specific to the needs of the organization.

School and daycare service: Volunteers help educate the children of migrant workers in hygiene practices provide recreational activities and English lessons.
