India
"I went to the Golden Temple and the Pakistan border, went to Jaipur, the Taj Mahal and Agra. Getting to see the countryside and the differences in culture was really great, plus the opportunity to bond with the other volunteers during those long car/train rides was wonderful."Diana Millikin, India volunteer
Free Time in New Delhi
During free time volunteers in New Delhi enjoy all that the city has to offer, including bustling markets, Internet cafes, Bollywood films, and more. Volunteers also stay local to the Home-Base,
joining in yoga classes, shopping in artisan markets, and enjoying tea with new neighbors. During weekends, most volunteers travel outside of New Delhi, visiting national sites such as the Taj Mahal or the deserts of Rajisthan.
