The Home-Base in Puriscal

The CCS Home-Base The Home-Base in Puriscal is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. This traditional Costa Rican-style house includes a common room, kitchen, and dining area, and several bedrooms for volunteers. The house is within walking distance of the town center, museums, shops, markets, internet cafes, and all that Puriscal has to offer.

Local CCS staff will make you feel at home and help you better understand the culture. They help facilitate your volunteer experience and are always available to handle any questions that may arise.

Meals at the CCS Home-Base are prepared by local cooks. Fare includes typical Costa Rican dishes with rice, beans, and delicious fresh fruit. There is always a lot of world-famous Costa Rican coffee as well! Transportation to and from your volunteer placement and scheduled Cultural & Learning Activities is provided by Cross-Cultural Solutions' licensed drivers.
