Volunteer Work in China
Our volunteer placements in China are all with locally-run organizations, dedicated to improving the lives of Xi'an's residents. CCS volunteers have the flexibility to work side-by-side with local people, from school children to adults. Volunteers working in China may be at local schools or orphanages, English language camps, centers for people with disabilities, and community-based health organizations.
Volunteers in China are involved with the following types of placements
- caring for infants and children
- teaching children
- teaching English
- assisting teachers
- sharing their professional skills/experience
- caring for people with disabilities
- assisting teachers of special education
