During the summer months many CCS programs often reach full capacity, but CCS strives to serve the community of each program site by providing a sustainable resource to our Partner Programs throughout the entire year. Traveling during the off-peak season can often mean more personal space at the Home-Base, more one-on-one time with fellow volunteers or CCS staff, and a more diverse demographic of volunteers. The off-peak season can be an opportunity to experience winter holidays in another country, and enjoy a first-hand look into how holidays are celebrated in other parts of the world. By volunteering in the Southern Hemisphere during the off-peak season, you can even enjoy another country's spring and summer. In addition, travel during the off-peak season can be easier to arrange and cost less than at other times of the year.
