At Cross-Cultural Solutions, we take all feedback very seriously. We know that our continued success relies on volunteer feedback to improve the way we operate.
Direct communication allows us to act quickly on your concerns, but we understand and honor your privacy if you wish it to be confidential. We fully commit to receiving your feedback openly and will follow up on every issue raised.
All recommendations on how we can improve are welcome, so we offer many opportunities to share your feedback before, during, and after your CCS program.
Before your Program
- Online Survey: We ask for your thoughts and opinions through optional online surveys to learn more about your experience prior to enrollment, and as an enrolled volunteer. Your feedback may be anonymous.
- Phone Conversations: Your CCS Program Manager will invite feedback and discuss any concerns you may have about your pre-departure experience. You may also speak with our Senior Manager of Programs at our global headquarters.
In-Country
- Group Forum: While you are volunteering in-country, we offer weekly Feedback Meetings to openly address issues you may have during your program. You may always ask for an individual meeting with the Director or any other CCS staff member.
- Written Evaluation: At the end of your program, we ask you to complete an in-country evaluation of your experience abroad.
After Your Program
- Email: After you return, we send a re-entry survey for you to complete, reflecting on your overall experience with CCS and encouraging you to discuss your program with your Program Manager.
At any time, you are welcome to send feedback to quality@crossculturalsolutions.org and a staff member in the Office of the Executive Director will be happy to speak with you.
