Congratulations on your decision to embark on an international adventure through
participating in Teen Volunteer Abroad with Cross-Cultural Solutions! This application
process is designed to ensure that our volunteers possess the level of maternity
and independence needed to have a successful and fulfilling experience in another
culture. Once you submit your application, you will be contacted through email by
a Program Advisor to schedule a brief interview. This interview is an important
step of the application process, and can be done over the phone or by Skype.
You can submit your application online, or you can choose to print the application
and fax, mail, or email the form to a Program Advisor. If you’re just looking for

Parent involvement is an important part of the international volunteer process.
However, if you are a parent, please make sure that your teen is completing this
application. This helps us to ensure that your teen is serious about the commitment
to this adventure!

International volunteers interested in applying for Teen Volunteer Abroad must be
between the ages of 14 and 17. If you are an interested participant 18 and older,
you can enroll for our Volunteer Abroad, Intern Abroad,
or Insight Abroad programs on our enrollment page.
No application is required for teens volunteering with family or
in a chaperoned high school or community group for our year-round programs.
