Cross-Cultural Solutions Launches Social Networking Website

Cross-Cultural Solutions is proud to launch the CCS Community, a website dedicated to social networking for people who share an interest in international volunteering.
The CCS Community already has over 1000 members and more are joining each day.
The CCS Community is an informal space designed for prospective volunteers, enrolled volunteers, and CCS alumni to share photos, videos, blogs, and other information about volunteering abroad.
Once site visitors become members, they can create a profile, customize their own page, and start participating in the online community. Members can make friends, browse and upload photos and videos, join groups that match their interests, converse on forums, answer poll questions, and write a blog. Members can modify privacy settings and choose whether to share blogs with non-members, offering friends and family the opportunity to learn in detail about volunteering abroad with Cross-Cultural Solutions.
The virtual community is meant to support all CCS volunteers, regardless of whether they have enrolled or are planning to enroll soon. A prospective volunteer can get an inside look at what volunteering abroad with CCS is really like through connecting with CCS alumni. Enrolled volunteers can meet fellow program participants before they embark on their journey. Alumni can stay connected with not only their fellow volunteers, but also support future volunteers after their program ends.
