As a volunteer in Russia with CCS, you’ll work side-by-side with local people and experience another culture like never before. Russia is the largest country in the world—covering 6.5 million square miles and spanning two continents and 11 time zones—yet considered one of the most private. You’ll find gorgeous wilderness, lakes, mountains, and several historically and culturally rich cities that give you insight into this fascinating country. The 1991 formation of the Russian Federation began a resurgence of national Russian heritage through art, architecture, and literature. CCS Russia has welcomed over 500 volunteers since 2001; many have returned to volunteer in Russia with CCS a second or third time.
