As a volunteer in India with CCS, you’ll explore the country’s infinite layers of history, religion, and politics. India is home to 18 languages, 500 dialects, 30 religions, and over a billion people. India’s history dates back more than 5,000 years. From Gandhi to modern activists, India is known for social activism and a culture of resilience when faced with adversity. CCS was founded in this environment of social change in New Delhi in 1995.
