As a volunteer with CCS in China, you will enjoy working side-by-side with local people and learning about one of the world's most ancient and unique cultures. Today, people visiting China enjoy the architectural remains of ancient heritage, such as The Great Wall of China, the Grand Canal, Forbidden Palace, and Temple of Heaven, as well as modern art and culture in its large urban centers. China—home to 56 ethnic groups and over 1.3 billion people—is the world's fourth-largest country, spanning 9.6 million square kilometers of Eastern Asia.
