CCS offers discounts to alumni, groups, children age 12 and younger, and volunteers participating in multiple programs. Discounts vary based on your program, and apply to both the peak and off-peak program fee. Each individual enrollment may receive one discount as discounts cannot be combined.

Outreach Discount
CCS passes along the Outreach Discount when you enroll with friends or family. One person will be designated as the Main Contact and the discount is applied to the Main Contact's program fee. For each additional friend or family member participating, the Main Contact receives a larger discount. When each person enrolls they must provide the Main Contact's name in order for the discount to be applied.
To be eligible for this discount, all participants must travel to the same program site and either begin their program on the same program start date or overlap with one another in-country.
Volunteer Abroad and Intern Abroad: US$262 discount is applied to the Main Contact's program fee for every person the Main Contact brings along to the same program site.
Below are the discounts if the Main Contact is bringing:
- 1 person: US$262
- 2 people: US$524
- 3 people: US$786
- 4 people: US$1,048
Please note that CCS also has a Group Discount which applies to six or more friends participating together. Families of any size are eligible for the Outreach Discount.
Insight Abroad: US$183 is applied to the Main Contact's program fee for every person the Main Contact brings along to the same program site.
For example, if the Main Contact brings:
- 1 person: US$183
- 2 people: US$366
- 3 people: US$549
- 4 people: US$732
Important Note: The Outreach Discount only applies to friends and family that are not CCS Alumni because the outreach cost is only credited one time per volunteer.
Group Discount

Important Note: A group is defined as six or more people traveling to the same program site, beginning their program on the same program start date, and staying for the same duration. The group discount must be approved by the Groups Specialist prior to enrollment.
Alumni Discount
CCS encourages Alumni to re-enroll in a CCS program by offering a discount covering costs for additional Outreach and Recruitment required for a second volunteer or program site.
Volunteer Abroad and Intern Abroad: US$262 discount per alum
Insight Abroad: US$183 discount per alum
Alumni Discount (4+ Programs)
CCS Alumni who have already participated in three programs are eligible for a more comprehensive discount. This discount is equivalent to the full cost of outreach and recruitment.

Multiple Programs Discount
For participants who enroll in multiple programs at the same time, CCS will apply the Alumni Discount for each additional program after the first.
Child Discount
CCS defines a child as a participant 12 years old and younger, who is not volunteering, and does not have a placement. For more information, please refer to our Age Policy.
