Creative Learning is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting human rights, supporting economic and social development, and building peace. Its newest initiative, America’s Unofficial Ambassadors (AUA), also aims to improve America’s relationship with the Muslim World through promoting volunteering in education, health, community needs, and civil society.

After a year of research and interviews with program staff and alumni from over 1,000 organizations, AUA has included CCS within a directory of 59 organizations they recommend to provide credible and safe volunteer opportunities in the Muslim World.

The AUA Mosaic Scholarship Program

AUA is offering the AUA Mosaic Scholarship Program to support under-represented American citizens of all ages to volunteer in the Muslim world with an AUA Directory listed program. If you are interested in volunteering in Morocco, you can apply for a scholarship up to $5,000, which can be used to cover program fees and/or travel for a program in 2012. Check Morocco start dates for Insight Abroad (one-week program), Volunteer Abroad, or Intern Abroad.

Creative Learning will accept applications on a rolling basis from January 9th, 2012 to August 1st, 2012. Interested applicants should review the AUA Mosaic Scholarship Rules and Regulations prior to completing the application form and budget. Applications should be submitted by email no later than August 1th, 2012.
