If you're thinking about volunteering abroad with Cross-Cultural Solutions, and looking for financial support to do so, scholarships, grants, or stipends may be available.
Funding for volunteering abroad has traditionally been very limited, obtained through individual fundraising or matching gifts programs. However, exciting, new funding options are now generously offered through a variety of institutions who share the CCS commitment to international service and learning, such as:
University Scholarships or Grants may also be available for students to volunteer abroad, especially for students gaining academic credit for their service-learning internship. We encourage you to also look into resources available through your personal memberships and affiliations, and especially through fraternal groups, colleges, and universities. Individual fundraising efforts and matching gifts programs have also been helpful ways to fund volunteering abroad as well.
