A RECOGNIZED LEADER
p>Cross-Cultural Solutions is a recognized leader in the field of international volunteering. Through collaborations and partnerships with peer organizations, we strive to promote excellence in the field. We focus our attention on providing the highest quality volunteer programs in order to lead by example and make international volunteering as accessible as possible to all who wish to experience it. CCS works diligently with others in the field to promote service and stay focused on our vision, mission, and values. CCS has no political or religious affiliations. Collaborating with Peer Organizations, Leading by Example To support the growth and development of the international volunteering field, we believe it is critical to not only lead by example, but stay connected with our peer organizations to brainstorm best practices, set quality standards, and keep up-to-date with issues, news, and current events related to our field.
p>CCS is deeply dedicated to ensuring that our programs have a positive effect on both the communities we serve and our volunteers. In 2010, CCS created its first Impact Assessment, a report measuring the impact and efficicacy of our programs. In addition, CCS was selected for a rigorous scientific study on the impact of international volunteering, conducted by the Center for Social Development at Washington University in St. Louis, and funded by the Ford Foundation. Sharing Our Values, Goals and, Expertise Beyond our peers in international volunteering, we share values with other organizations working in international development. In these cases, we serve in an advisory role and partner.
p>Supporting Excellence in Nonprofit Management We recognize that leadership is not only about our work in the field or collaborating with peers. Leadership requires financial stability and excellence in non-profit management. We are proud to be recognized as a responsible and valuable nonprofit organization.
