At the heart of Cross-Cultural Solutions is our in-country staff. Internationally recognized and respected, they are passionate about international volunteering and committed to the success of each CCS program.
We take great pride in the fact that every member of our in-country staff is always locally born and based. This gives them insight into the people and culture that only a local person would have. This deep connection with the community means your volunteer experience is richer and more meaningful right from the start.
Upon arrival, the CCS driver greets you at the airport and brings you to the CCS Home-Base. The Program Director walks you through an in-depth orientation, where you’ll get acquainted with the local community, learn about cultural norms, and familiarize yourself with the CCS staff.
All of our in-country staff members are warm, loving people who want you to feel right at home and will make sure you are well cared for. They hold regular feedback meetings and visit you at your volunteer placement. Plus, the staff office is typically located at the Home-Base, so a helping hand is never far.
The staff at each CCS program site includes a Country Director, Program Director, Program Officers, drivers, cooks, cleaners, and guards. Each in-country staff member has such an amazing story to tell.
