Program Managers are alumni of Cross-Cultural Solutions, and are the experts for their assigned countries. They work with our volunteers as they prepare for their experience abroad. They are in close communication with in-country staff, and they are familiar with the local culture and day-to-day life in our programs. They also serve as the main contact person for your friends and families back home.

Director of Program Management

Aisha Davis is from Chicago, IL. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO where she majored in African American Studies. While at WashU, she traveled to France and Italy during a study abroad program in Göttingen, Germany which sparked an interest in international travel and learning about other cultures. After college she began a career in higher education administration and earned her Master of Science in Education at Northwestern University. She has worked as Director of Admissions at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and in multicultural affairs at Cornell University. In spring 2008, Aisha took a break from her successful career in higher education to pursue a life-long dream of volunteering in Africa and she was thrilled when she discovered CCS. She volunteered with a women's empowerment organization in Bagamoyo, Tanzania and had a life-altering experience. She was so moved by her experience with CCS that instead of returning to her career in higher education, she joined CCS as Director of Program Management just a few months later. Since joining CCS, Aisha has also traveled to our program in Morocco.
