Programs are supported by program fees and donations, both of which are tax-deductible for U.S. residents. Program fees are based on a worldwide average of our program expenses.

Commitment to Financial Transparency
CCS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1995 whose financial information is audited annually and publicly available. We are recognized as a financially responsible non-profit organization by Charity Navigator, the leading charity evaluator in America, which rated CCS a '4-Star Charity' for three consecutive years. CCS is a BBB accredited charity, meeting all 20 Standards for Charity Accountability. CCS is also listed as a charity on Guidestar, and maintains membership in the Guidestar Exchange, New York Nonprofit Coordinating Committee, and The New York State Attorney General’s Charities Bureau.
Each year, CCS donates the equivalent of 1% of net revenue to make international volunteering possible for people who cannot afford the program fee.
